Overview
The Social Media tab in SheetXAI settings configures the Late integration for social media posting and scheduling directly from your spreadsheet. This tab connects SheetXAI with your social media accounts through Late, enabling you to create and schedule posts across 13+ platforms, publish content in bulk, and import your post history — all through simple chatbot commands.

The Social Media tab is used for posting and scheduling content across your social media platforms. It enables you to manage your entire social media workflow from a single spreadsheet — create posts, schedule them for specific times, attach media, and track what you've published.

How to Use Social Media Integration
Once configured with your Late API key, use natural language commands in the SheetXAI chatbot:
Basic Commands
- "Post this to Twitter and LinkedIn"
- "Schedule these posts for tomorrow at 9am"

- "Show my connected social media accounts"
Advanced Commands
- "Bulk post these rows to Instagram and TikTok"

How to Configure
- Navigate to the Settings section in the SheetXAI sidebar
- Select the Social Media tab
- Enter your Late API key
- Click Save to activate the social media integration
Note: To get your Late API key, sign up at Late and find your API key in your account settings. You'll also need to connect your social media accounts within Late.

Best Practices
- Connect Accounts in Late First: Make sure your social media accounts are connected in Late before trying to post from SheetXAI
- Use Platform Selection: Specify which platforms to post to — not every post belongs on every platform
- Include Timezone: When scheduling, include your timezone to ensure posts go out at the right time
- Test with One Post: Try a single post first before bulk scheduling to verify everything works
- Review Before Bulk Posting: Double-check your spreadsheet content before bulk posting — posts can't be recalled once published
- Use Skip Logic: Leave rows empty or incomplete if you want them skipped during bulk operations
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with social media integration:
- Verify API Key: Ensure your Late API key is correct
- Check Connected Accounts: Verify your social media accounts are connected within Late — SheetXAI posts through Late, so accounts must be connected there
- Review Error Messages: Check the chatbot responses for specific error details — bulk operations report errors per row
- Check Platform Limits: Some platforms have character limits or media requirements — ensure your content meets each platform's requirements
- Verify Scheduling Time: Make sure scheduled times are in the future and include timezone information
