The Image Gen tab in SheetXAI settings configures the AI model used specifically for generating images through SAI formulas. This dedicated setting allows you to select the optimal model for creating visual content directly in your spreadsheet.

The Image Gen tab specifies which AI model will handle image generation requests in your spreadsheet. This separate configuration ensures you can optimize for image quality, cost, and speed independently from your text-based AI operations.

How to Use Image Generation in SAI Formulas
To generate images in your spreadsheet, you must use a specific prefix in your SAI command:
#SAI IMAGEGEN create a professional logo with a blue mountain and sun
Important: Image generation will only work when your SAI command instruction starts with the IMAGEGEN keyword.
Note: The
#SAIformat automatically transforms into the right spreadsheet syntax every few seconds when the chat panel is open. If you need the native Google Sheets vs Excel formula syntax, use the SAI Commands Builder to generate it.

How to Configure

Remember that image generation will only activate when your command instruction begins with the IMAGEGEN keyword - all other instructions will be processed by your default Content models.
