Ecommerce Tab Settings in SheetXAI

Overview

The Ecommerce tab in SheetXAI settings configures the models that handle store-specific operations when interacting with the SheetXAI chatbot. This tab enables direct integration with your ecommerce platforms, allowing you to manage store operations directly from your spreadsheet.

Key Information

Purpose

The Ecommerce tab determines which ecommerce integration models are available when you ask the SheetXAI chatbot to perform store-specific operations. These specialized models can execute actions like adding products to your ecommerce store directly from your spreadsheet data.

Current Capabilities

At present, our primary ecommerce capability is:

• Adding products to stores in bulk: Transfer product data from your spreadsheet (column-based, not row-based) directly to your connected ecommerce platform

Note: We are continually expanding our ecommerce integration capabilities with additional functionalities coming soon.

Configuring Ecommerce Models

This tab uses a multi-select configuration system that requires specific steps:

1. Select Available Platforms: Check the boxes next to the ecommerce platforms you want to connect
2. Enter Platform Credentials: Tap on each selected platform to expand the credential input fields
3. Provide Required Information: Fill in all required API keys, store URLs, or other credentials 
4. Save Your Configuration: Ensure the checkboxes remain selected before saving settings

Important: You must select at least one platform by checking its box before saving settings, or the configuration will not be saved properly.

How to Use Ecommerce Integration

Example Workflow

Once configured, you can use natural language commands in the SheetXAI chatbot to perform ecommerce operations:

1. Prepare Your Data: Organize your product information in your spreadsheet (names, descriptions, prices, etc.)
2. Open the SheetXAI Chatbot: Access the sidebar interface
3. Issue Store Commands: Type requests like:
   • "Upload these new products to my woocommerce store"
   • "Add these products to my woocommerce store  in the 'shirts' category"

Behind the Scenes

When you issue an ecommerce-related command:

1. SheetXAI automatically detects the store-specific request
2. The system routes your request to the appropriate ecommerce model
3. The model authenticates with your store using your saved credentials
4. The requested operation is performed on your ecommerce platform
5. You receive confirmation and status updates in the chat

How to Configure

1. Navigate to the Settings section in the SheetXAI sidebar
2. Select the Ecommerce tab
3. Check the boxes next to the platforms you want to integrate with
4. Tap on each selected platform to reveal credential fields
5. Enter all required information for each platform
6. Ensure the checkboxes remain selected
7. Click Save to apply your configuration

With proper configuration, you'll be able to seamlessly manage your ecommerce operations directly from your spreadsheet, saving time and reducing the potential for errors from manual data transfer.
