Adding Context to Messages in SheetXAI

Overview

We've added a powerful new feature to SheetXAI that allows you to provide specific context from your spreadsheet to guide your conversations with the AI. This feature helps overcome the default limitation where SheetXAI only sees the first five rows of your data.

How to Use the Add Context Feature

Step 1: Select Relevant Cells

Select any cells in your spreadsheet that contain information you want the AI to reference
You can select individual cells, ranges, or multiple selections
The selected cells will be highlighted to show they're being added as context

Step 1: Click the Add Context Button

Open the SheetXAI sidebar
Look for the "Add Context" button in the chat interface
Click it and wait

Step 3: Ask Your Question

With your context added, type your question in the chat box
Your question can now reference the specific data you've selected
Example: "What's the first row that I selected?"

Step 4: Receive Contextual Responses

SheetXAI will respond based on the specific context you've provided
The AI can now reference data anywhere in your spreadsheet, not just the first five rows
