How to Extract Data from Images or PDFs
Step 1: Open SheetXAI in Google Sheets
- Open your Google Sheets document
- Access SheetXAI from the sidebar or Extensions menu
Step 2: Upload Your Image or PDF
- Click the "Add Image/PDF" button in the SheetXAI sidebar
- Select the file you want to extract data from
- The file will be uploaded and processed by our AI vision system
Step 3: Ask SheetXAI to Extract the Data
- After uploading, simply ask SheetXAI to extract the data
- Example prompt: "Extract the table from this image and create a spreadsheet"
- For specific data, you can be more precise: "Extract the financial data from Q2 in this PDF"
Step 4: Review and Confirm
- SheetXAI will show you a preview of the extracted data
- Review the information for accuracy
- Confirm to have the data inserted into your spreadsheet
