Using Email Verification in SheetXAI

Overview

SheetXAI's email verification feature allows you to seamlessly validate large lists of email addresses through integrated providers including MillionVerifier and Reoon. This powerful capability helps ensure your email lists are clean, deliverable, and less likely to harm your sender reputation.

Note: Email verification requires setting up your API keys in the SheetXAI Email Verification settings. This feature is available to all LTD (Lifetime Deal) users.

How to Verify Email Addresses

Step-by-Step Instructions (Google Sheets)

1. Prepare Your Data
   • Ensure you have email addresses in a column in your Google Sheet
   • No special formatting is needed—just a list of email addresses
2. Open SheetXAI
   • Click Extensions → SheetXAI → Open Chat to open the SheetXAI sidebar
3. Request Email Verification
   • Type one of these commands in the chat:
     • Verify all emails in column C with MillionVerifier (specifying column)
     • Verify these emails with Reoon (SheetXAI will detect email columns)
     • Use MillionVerifier to validate all email addresses in this sheet
4. Confirm Email Notification
   • SheetXAI will ask if you want to be notified by email when verification is complete
   • Respond with "Yes" or "No" according to your preference
5. Verification Starts
   • SheetXAI will confirm that verification has started
   • Make sure to keep the SheetXAI sidebar open and not timed-out (in this sheet or any other sheet/spreadsheet, it doesn't matter)
6. Wait for Processing
   • Verification typically takes 5-20 minutes depending on your list size
   • You can check progress directly on the provider's website if desired
7. Review Results
   • When complete, you'll receive an email notification (if you opted in)
   • Results will be added to your sheet automatically

Step-by-Step Instructions (Microsoft Excel)

1. Prepare Your Data
   • Ensure you have email addresses in a column in your Excel workbook
   • No special formatting is needed—just a list of email addresses
2. Open SheetXAI
   • Click the SheetXAI tab in the ribbon, then click Open SheetXAI
3. Request Email Verification
   • Type one of these commands in the chat:
     • Verify all emails in column C with MillionVerifier (specifying column)
     • Verify these emails with Reoon (SheetXAI will detect email columns)
     • Use MillionVerifier to validate all email addresses in this sheet
4. Verification Starts
   • SheetXAI will confirm that verification has started
   • Important: Keep Excel and the SheetXAI add-in open during the entire verification process
5. Wait for Processing
   • Verification typically takes 5-20 minutes depending on your list size
   • You can check progress directly on the provider's website if desired
6. Review Results
   • When complete, results will be added to your sheet automatically

Understanding Verification Results

After verification completes, your sheet will be updated with additional columns containing:

• Verification Status: As specified by the provider

Best Practices

• Batch Size: For very large lists (10,000+ emails), consider breaking them into smaller batches if you want them to complete faster
• Save Before Verifying: Always save your spreadsheet before starting verification
• Check Provider Credits: Ensure you have sufficient credits with your verification provider

Troubleshooting

Verification Not Starting

1. Check that your API key is correctly set up in SheetXAI Email Verification settings
2. Ensure your provider account has available credits
3. Verify that your email column contains properly formatted email addresses

Verification Taking Too Long

1. Check the provider's website for status updates
2. For very large lists, longer processing times are normal (can be 30+ minutes)

Missing Results

1. Confirm you received the completion email notification
2. Refresh your spreadsheet if you haven't already
3. Check the provider's dashboard to confirm verification completion
